The SODO Station is a Sound Transit Central Link light rail stop in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle. It is an at-grade station with side platforms, and is on the east side of the King County Metro Busway north of Lander Street. Riders enter the station from a new trail next to the light rail route and from Lander Street. The mile-long [1] trail was built parallel to the light rail route from South Royal Brougham Way to South Forest Street. The trail connects via road with the Mountains to Sound Greenway and other Seattle-area bike trails.
SODO Station opened on July 18, 2009, and is projected to have a daily ridership of 1700 by the year 2020.[2]
